Who you're dealing with
Dinemint is built and operated by App Studios, a partnership firm registered in Uttar Pradesh, India. When you sign up, you're agreeing these terms with App Studios. Dinemint is the product; App Studios is the legal entity holding the bag.
The deal
You pay us a monthly fee. We run the software. The software runs your menu, your orders, your reservations. Either of us can end the arrangement on a month's notice.
Trial
The first fourteen nights are free. We may ask for a card on signup so we can charge you on day fifteen if you stay — we won't charge it before. Cancel before then, owe nothing.
Acceptable use
Don't use Dinemint to sell anything illegal. Don't try to break it. Don't share your login. Don't scrape the menu API beyond reasonable use.
If you use the WhatsApp or Instagram integrations, follow Meta's rules. That means: no spamming customers, no messaging people who haven't bought from you or opted in, no misleading content, no commerce categories Meta forbids. We pass on what Meta tells us — your WhatsApp number can be paused or shut down by Meta if they decide you've crossed a line, and that's not something we can override.
We reserve the right to suspend service for any of the above; we'll always tell you why.
Marketing channels you connect
When you turn on WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other third-party channel inside Dinemint, you're also agreeing to that provider's terms. Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform terms apply to your WhatsApp Business Account. Meta's Platform Terms apply to your Instagram account. Cashfree's and Paddle's terms apply when money moves. We can't override their decisions — if Meta shuts down your WhatsApp number, we can't get it back; we can only help you appeal.
Uptime
We aim for 99.9% during service hours (Tue–Sun, 11:00–23:00 local). When we miss it, we credit the affected day automatically. You shouldn't have to ask.
Your data is yours
Menus, orders, guest records — they're your property. We hold them, you own them. Export any time, delete any time. The data deletion page walks through how.
Liability
If we mess up and it costs you money, our liability is capped at twelve months of fees. This is standard, but we mention it because we don't like surprises and assume you don't either.
Where the deal sits
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong and we can't sort it between us, the courts of Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction. If you'd rather arbitrate, we're fine with that too — let us know.
Changes
When we change these terms, we'll email every operator and put a banner in admin for a fortnight. Continued use means you accept the change; cancel any time if you don't.
